Role Overview:
✓ Hirdaramani Bangladesh is seeking a Merchandiser to manage buyer communications, sourcing, and production coordination within the garments sector.
✓ The role focuses on ensuring timely procurement, maintaining quality standards, and overseeing end-to-end merchandising processes.
✓ The position requires strong coordination with suppliers, factories, and production teams to ensure on-time delivery and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
✓ Manage buyer communications to understand order requirements and oversee approvals including BOM, trim cards, and documentation.
✓ Ensure timely sourcing and procurement of fabrics and trims in coordination with suppliers.
✓ Liaise with factory and production teams and conduct pre-production (PP) meetings.
✓ Monitor sample approvals and production progress to ensure adherence to timelines.
✓ Negotiate supplier pricing to maintain cost efficiency and profitability.
✓ Maintain and update trim and purchase order (PO) trackers.
✓ Resolve production and quality-related issues in a timely manner.

Candidate Requirements:
Education:
✓ BBA/MBA or Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Apparel Merchandising, or a related field.

Experience:
✓ 2-4 years of experience in garments merchandising (preferably bulk and trims handling).

Preferred Qualifications:
✓ Experience working with international buyers such as PVH, Ralph Lauren, or US-based clients.

Core Competencies:
✓ Strong knowledge of BOM, trims, trim cards, PO management, and production follow-up.
✓ Effective communication and coordination skills.
✓ Strong negotiation and problem-solving ability.
