Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts & Costing professional to join our Finance team as Assistant Manager or Deputy Manager (depending on experience). The role is based at our corporate head office in Gulshan, Dhaka.
The selected candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, preparing cost sheets, analyzing production and operational costs, overseeing budgeting and forecasting activities, ensuring compliance with tax and VAT regulations, and leading a small team of junior accountants. You will work closely with the production, procurement, and sales departments to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve overall financial efficiency.
This is a mid-to-senior level position requiring strong analytical skills, leadership capability, and deep understanding of Bangladesh’s financial and regulatory environment.
REQUIREMENTS

Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Cost & Management Accounting (CMA/CA/ACCA partly or fully qualified will get preference)Minimum 4 years of relevant experience in accounts and costing for Assistant Manager; 6+ years for Deputy ManagerStrong command over cost accounting principles, inventory valuation, and overhead allocationHands-on experience with any ERP system (SAP FICO, Oracle Financials, or Tally ERP)In-depth knowledge of Bangladesh Income Tax Ordinance, VAT Act, and statutory compliance requirementsAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, financial modeling)Proven ability to prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements under IFRS/BASExcellent written and verbal communication skills in English and BengaliTeam management experience with strong problem-solving attitude
