Position: Head of Learning & Development

Role Overview:
✓ BRAC Bank PLC is seeking a Head of Learning & Development to lead its organization-wide capability-building strategy as part of a major HR transformation.
✓ The role focuses on building a Center of Excellence (COE) for L&D, driving leadership development, and aligning talent capabilities with business goals.
✓ The position requires strategic leadership, strong stakeholder engagement, and expertise in modern learning frameworks within the banking sector.

Key Responsibilities:
✓ Lead and execute enterprise-wide L&D strategy aligned with business objectives and HR transformation goals.
✓ Conduct annual Learning Needs Analysis and develop structured, multi-tiered learning curricula.
✓ Design and manage leadership development programmes, including end-to-end execution of flagship initiatives.
✓ Build and maintain competency frameworks across functions and leadership levels.
✓ Oversee learning delivery across classroom, digital, blended, coaching, and on-the-job modalities.
✓ Develop and manage digital learning infrastructure including LMS and e-learning platforms.
✓ Design onboarding and orientation programmes for new hires.
✓ Track and report L&D metrics including learning effectiveness, behavioral impact, and ROI.
✓ Manage L&D budgets, vendor partnerships, and ensure cost-effective delivery.
✓ Ensure full compliance with regulatory training requirements and maintain auditable training records.

Candidate Requirements:
Education:
✓ Full-time MBA/PGDM with specialization in HR.
✓ Professional certifications such as ATD CPTD, CIPD, or equivalent preferred.
✓ Additional certifications in coaching, facilitation, or instructional design are advantageous.

Experience:
✓ Minimum 12 years of total experience, including at least 7 years in L&D, OD, or capability development roles.
✓ Proven experience in leadership development and large-scale learning programme design.
✓ Experience with LMS platforms and e-learning tools (e.g., Articulate, Adobe Captivate).
✓ Banking or financial services experience is strongly preferred.

✓ Strong understanding of regulatory training requirements and competency frameworks.
✓ Data-driven approach with ability to measure impact and present ROI.
